Short Biography:
Sean Clancy is a current postgraduate student based in the Mechanical Engineering Department in UCD. His current research, concerning the simulation of tyre and suspension link forces in a formula student suspension is nearing completion and for this he shall be awarded a Masters of Engineering Science (M.Eng.Sc) Degree. Following this he intends to pursue a career in vehicle dynamics and race engineering in the motorsport industry. He is an accomplished Team Leader with UCD Racing, and has successfully led both UCD R3 and R4 teams to competition.
Before commencing his research at UCD he studied at the Institute of Technology, Tallaght and obtained several qualifications;

(1995) National Diploma in Manufacturing Engineering - Institute of Technology, Tallaght
(1994) National Certificate in Mechanical Engineering - Institute of Technology, Tallaght
